Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship. This is an exciting opportunity to work on developing and optimizing our backend systems, ensuring the scalability, security, and performance of our platform. This position is independent, giving you the freedom to innovate and lead your projects. If we are impressed with your work and dedication, there is potential to transition into a full-time paid position with a higher salary and compensation based on your experience and how well your skills fit with our needs.

Responsibilities:

 • Develop, test, and maintain backend components and services.

 • Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

 • Optimize database queries and ensure data integrity.

 • Implement security and data protection measures.

 • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.

 • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.

 • Document development processes, APIs, and systems

 

Requirements:

 • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 • Strong understanding and experience with Java and Spring Boot.

 • Knowledge of server-side programming languages such as Python, with a focus on automation.

 • Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

 • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.

 • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

 • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.

 • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

 • Good communication skills and the ability to take constructive feedback.
